Description:
During this ABLE presentation the presenters (Rick, Sixto, & Carmen) demonstrated how he/she uses multistep word problems in the field of rubber molding. The presenters worked with students to calculate the amount (weight) of raw material needed to produce a rubber o-ring based on a scale drawing and a given density. Volume and density formulas were used together to derive the weight. |
