- Encourage students to take part in their own education
- Have a student voice in decisions that affect them regarding curriculum, safety etc.
- Work with families to help students become more aware of various educational opportunities
- Students learn about SCAN Skills, communication and presentation skills, state standards, cultural diversity training, conflict resolution, team building and how to support fellow students in their endeavors.
