Agreements  

Each pre-apprenticeship is formalized with the state of CA through a linkage agreement between the Division of Apprenticeship Standards (DAS) and Pre-Apprenticeship Sponsor. IEConnect serves as the pre-apprenticeship sponsor of high schools in the Inland Empire and has established linkage agreements with DAS based on the current needs/demands from apprenticeship programs.
 

Any school district with a high need/in-demand pathway can implement a pre-apprenticeship under existing linkage agreements established by IEConnect. 

 

Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) 

The first step to establishing a pre-apprenticeship into an existing CTE pathway is signing an MOU between the district and IEConnect (Pre-Apprenticeship Sponsor) that clearly articulates:
