AAUW Victor Valley encourages students to apply themselves to their science and mathematics courses so they will be prepared to take challenging course work and to expose them to STEM careers. Over 3,000 students have attended CWIMS to learn how professional women currently working in STEM fields utilize science, technology, engineering, mathematics, and science in their careers every day. Working with the Alliance for Education is critical to the success of CWIMS.
We partner with the Alliance because we are strongly passionate as a business to always find ways to give back to our community, and Alliance does just that. By providing resources of technology to our future generations, they open the pathway for an abundance of opportunities for these students to excel in their future careers.
Girl Scouts of San Gorgonio Council deeply values its participation in the Alliance for Education. Girl Scouts, for more than 100 years, has provided and continues to provide girls the opportunity to “learn by doing”. The Alliance allows GSSGC to connect with local educators and our business partners. These alliances assist us in providing cutting-edge learning experiences that help girls acquire the 21st Century skills needed today.
The Inland Empire Electrical Training Center has been a partner with the Alliance for more than a decade. Through this partnership we have been able to train local youth and provide them with a career that will last a lifetime.

Over the years, the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department and the San Bernardino County Superintendent of Schools have built a strong partnership focused on our community’s youth. County Schools is an innovator in providing forward thinking instruction to their students. By working together, we’ve been able to help facilitate training for staff and students. Our partnership programs, Law & Public Safety Pathways Conference and the Public Safety Regional Advisory introduce local students to curriculum, concepts, and hands-on experiences in the many public safety careers. These programs are extremely important if we want our local students to succeed and lead us into the future.

The San Bernardino County Preschool Services Department (PSD) partners with the Alliance for Education because we fully support the Countywide vision for which one of the essential goals is to support the success of every child from cradle-to-career. The Alliance for Education creates a space where PSD and other organizations can collaborate across complicated systems to increase the efficiency of service delivery through the alignment of those systems, for the benefit of our future workforce.
Our partnership with the Alliance for Education is a wonderful way to engage with teachers, students, and our community. The Alliance provides the perfect platform for our youth to learn about how transportation projects are planned and delivered and hopefully inspire the engineers of tomorrow.
The Alliance for Education has an important role in the planning and implementation of the STEP programs. Through the longstanding partnership between the Alliance and STEP, we are making tangible progress in educating a technical workforce to meet tomorrow’s demanding needs in the Inland Empire.
The UCR MESA program partners with the Alliance for Education because of the common mission it shares with us which is to empower our many diverse communities through education. This relationship with the Alliance for Education has strengthened our presence in the county while allowing us to further and enhance our work with partnering schools and districts. The community as a whole benefits from partnerships that help expand services and offerings through tangible connections to institutions like UC Riverside and the Bourns College of Engineering. We value our work with the Alliance for Education, and hope to continue impacting young people in the county for years to come.
